Troop Master 2005 Installation
SOP
If you have Troopmaster ME installed, there is no
need to uninstall it unless you want to. Troop Master 2005 will
install in another folder and leave your other installation intact.
1. Download the application files from "Shared
Docs". You'll need both "exe" files listed below. Save the files to a folder such as
C:\temp
.
2. Open the "Admin
page". Leave it open....you will need the registration numbers
listed there during the install.
3. Double-click the file "TM2005Setup" to extract the compressed
files and begin the installation.
4. When you are prompted for a unit number and registration
number....use the ones from the Admin page.
5. After the install has completed, open the the application from your
start menu or desktop icon.
6. Close the application and install the patch "TM2005-V303d".
(You will need to do this before you can setup Dotnet.)
7. After the patch installation, open the application from your start
menu or desktop icon.
8. Click the file menu and then click TroopMaster Dotnet...
9. You will be asked if you have a registration number....acknowledge
that you do.
10. Enter the registration number that is on the Admin page.
11. You will be presented with a screen wanting info about your FTP
Site, etc.
12. Fill in the information as seen below. DO NOT push the "Initialize
web database" or "Unlock web database" buttons.
14. Click okay. The installation is complete.
